JUMPSUIT
Jumpsuits. This is my first jumpsuit & I love it! Such a simple easy thing to wear yet looks a little different from what everyone else is wearing. Plus points. I got this lace jumpsuit in the ASOS sale, total bargain. My only moan - ASOS not everyone has slender model-esque calves, some of us have a more sturdy calf therefore a little give in the leg would be delightful - apart from that I can't complain. I didn't manage to get a proper full length picture but I wore the imfamous Zara heels which I showed a few posts ago. Loved the outfit. Nights out are always good when you feel good in your outfit.

Before I go, I've had some lovely comments on here recently so wanted to say thank you to you all, I love reading comments from fellow bloggers. Everyone has been really sweet so thank you! x

70s Perfection
Nicole Richie at an event hosted by H&M
One words: amazing. The print stays true to her love for 70s fashion as do the sleeves, a look Nicole pulls off to perfection. I love the clash but perfect match of colour between the yellow & the orange shoes, so so beautiful.

SPRING, IS THAT YOU?
A really simple but put together outfit for today. I love these trousers, they were such an amazing buy, a view that most bloggers seem to hold. I have only teamed them with black so far but I'm thinking a white top with my big H&M necklace would be nice also a pale blue tee or a pale pink seen as it is getting a little brighter after some really manky weather! I wore this badly pictured (web cam!) outfit with my Oasis leather jacket & New Look black slippers.

CHOP CHOP
I love this haircut. I have gotten a little tired of my pixie crop but want to keep it short so I am considering this little beaut of a chop. A plus point, big earrings look fierce with it. x

ALL IN MY STRIDE OR IN MY BAG?!
I have been missing a little recently mainly due to university work but yesterday was the hand in for my big report, this morning was my exam so I don't really have that excuse anymore! I have one presentation a week today which I doubt will take up as much of my time as the report and exam did so I am happy to say that I am back in the blogging world ... oh how I have missed it! And ... summer is nearly here! Believe it or not?!
On to the point of this post, I had planned on getting myself these shoes today when my exam was all done & I felt like I deserved a treat however I ended up buying them last week almost a week before my exam... I might have also bought a handbag too! Both are wonderfully beautiful pieces that will have plenty of use out of them so it was worth the money. I did work hard this semester too so I deserve them... kind of. A little bit. I blame Twitter, Emma in particular! haha.
Of course they were worn while revising, what else would you wear? Orange palazzo pants & heels is standard revision wear! Right?! x

IN MY BAG
I like a wee sneak peak inside people bags, just to see what they carry around. It interests me - this being an extremely sad & probably an all in all 'girly' thing to be interested by - everyone carries around different things depending on what they do etc. My bag seems to get filled with accesorises along with the junk of the day. The bag is a Christmas present from Topshop & has served me wonderfully. It is a good size for uni & for stuffing in all the general rubbish I feel I can't go without. Win.

THINKING BIG
Bet you're all thinking 'Why is she so tall next to the stack of hat boxes?!' 'Is she some form of giant?' The answer to both is I am kneeling. 'Why?' You ask now. The answer is simple: I am too lazy to get my pile of books that I use to balance my camera on over so I figured this would be the easiest way! #lazyblogger also #toocheaptobuyatripodblogger
Anyways, this is the second time my lovely new H&M necklace has been featured on here. I love it so very much. It is such a perfect pale coral pink colour & it sits perfectly on the neck/chest area. I think it dresses up an all together very casual outfit.
I had a mild exam related breakdown earlier but I seem to have gotten it under control, topics have been selected now all I have to do is learn them... Que breakdown number two ladies & gentlemen it will be here before the week is out.

OVERSIZED
This necklace is my favourite thing at the moment. Everything about it is just beautiful - the colour, the over sized factor. Perfect. I was in two minds about what outfit to go for, in the end I went for this. It felt more classy, the short tight dress has been done to death on nights out. After a dance round the flat to Call my maybe we departed, safe to say I danced my little pink shoes off & had a jolly time.

SPRING SUNSHINE
Everyone see to have these trousers. Why not, they are amazingly beautiful trousers! This was there debut complete with newly dyed hair & a freshly sprayed, if that is the correct term, spray tan, a little bit of Spring sunshine peaking in my curtains I thought why not! I added a studded Zara belt from the sale which was a bargain & is one of those pieces that comes in handy on many an occasion. The silver studs clash a little with the gold of my watch but I wanted to wear both so the silver/gold clash police will have to deal for today I am afraid.
Edith Piaf has been my soundtrack for this morning along with reading Hemingway's 'A moveable feast' I can really picture myself in a romantised life in Paris quite easily...

TICKING CLOCKS
I have dreamt about this River Island watch for ages I don't know why, I've never been a watch person but it turns out to be something that makes me feel like me. Is that odd?!
It was only £25 but makes me feel very chic & important, two qualities which I obviously have oodles of - I'm kidding. Expect to see this little beauty more frequently on here as I love her muchly, I'm sorry I called my watch a 'her'.

CONTENT
Two days in a row... I may have the blogging bug back. Yay! Day two of mad rush to get ready although this time it was not really necessary as I was way to early to meet my friend on her lunch break but alas my rushing put together an outfit I am quite happy with. These burgundy (the camera doesn't quite pick up the rich berry colour) are the comfiest things I've ever had the pleasure of putting on. They are a really thick legging material allowing easy movement & endless hours of comfort - dream!
Trousers - Warehouse sale
Top - H&M sale (although I'm starting to think it makes me look pregnant?!)

UNIFORM
This morning was one of those rushed, must find something to wear quickly sort of morning... I detest these mornings. Greatly. This being the case I went to my ever faithful Levi shorts. They have never let me down. In fact they have become somewhat of a uniform - a habit I have set myself the challenge of breaking... wish me luck. Anyway, I had a quick uni meeting this afternoon & then am off to work tonight so in my rush this to me was appropriate. It served its purpose.
I am really loving gold and rose gold at the moment, in particular big chunky jewerelly, something that in necklace form my bigger bust is not thanking me for but alas it is too pretty not too! This bag is another iffy piece with me, I love it - it has a beautiful old doctors bag style opening & fits everything and more into it but it is just so bloody big & bulky. I feel I am carrying around a hold all all day plus it can lead to some awkward getting wedged in the stairs on the bus incidents... I don't want to talk about it!

CHARADE
'Charade' is one of my favourite Audrey Hepburn movies, it is in the good company of 'Roman Holiday', the classic that is 'Breakfast at Tiffanys' and the fabulously styled 'How to steal a million' everything from Audrey's clothes to her eye make up are simply perfect in 'How to steal a million.'
The fashion in 'Charade' is another fashion favourite. In particular the three outfits pictured; the fascinator worn at her late husbands funeral with the veil, the red coat with the leopard hat & the black dress with the bead detail on the waist. All simply stunning.
She has such grace & elegance added with the amazing clothes, the Parisian background & Cary Grant it is just so amazing. Watch it!

"CLOTHES MAKE YOU FEEL GOOD"
This is just another little rambly post, I promise I will get back into doing proper outfit posts soon. I guess I had sort of lost the want to do it or maybe I was just being lazy - probably lazy. Anyways, I got May's Elle UK yesterday with Emily Blunt as the cover girl. Elle is without a doubt my favourite magazine & totally worth the £3.90 in my opinion. I really enjoy the Editors Letter this month which I poorly photographed! On a very basic, simple fashion related only level I 100% agree.
This top was a random purchase in H&M, H&M I find is cheeky for this - you go in for a look & leave swinging your little, or large, bag of goodies. The top is just a gorgeous bright coral - more on the pink side - and has such beautiful detail on the colour & the buttons down the back. I could resist it really... I think I will team it with a black bandage skirt for next weekend. I also got this orange & gold ring which I love, it is really big & statement plus it is in my favourite colour! The last thing I bought was Ernest Hemingway's 'A Moveable Feast' which I am really looking forward to starting, I have heard so many wonderful things about it so hopefully it will live up to its name. I'm sure it will.

STYLE CRUSH
Zoe Hardman. She has only recently appeared again on ITV2 and I have to admit she is a nice change from Caroline Flack's sometimes repetitive style. Zoe uses simple pieces, which I like, with interesting accessories such as a bright clutch! Love her style, think she might be a bit of a Topshop girl too!

SHORT HAIR
This is a bit of a different post for me but it is one I have been thinking about for a while & today I finally feel like sitting down and writing it. I have drafted it a few times but I feel like my thoughts & what I want to say have changed since the drafts.
The topic of this post: hair. Short hair to be specific.
I recently read that men find long hair more 'sexy' particularly long, tousled hair - neither of which I possess as I am sure you have noted that I have a pixie crop, the 5th most desirable hair style. I will admit I was part of the long, tousled crew for most of my teens, up until I was 20 really and then the chop came. The chop was one of the best things I have ever done, without a doubt. I don't think I will ever look back to be honest. I contemplate it sometimes of course, just a little bit of hair to add some product to and blow dry till it is all silky smooth and shiny but then I don't even need to blow dry my hair when it is super short - bonus!
My short hair makes me so much sexier and womanly than my long hair ever did, to quote Halle Berry, "I feel like me with my hair like this." This was in reference to her pixie crop. I totally know where she is coming from. I feel like I am me when I have short hair whether men find it sexy or not, I feel good in myself which I think it more important than what men think about me.
Some people think that short hair especially a cropped cut which is a common sight on boys from here to Kingdom come will make them look like a boy but I doubt very highly anyone will think this of me with my boobs and bum! It makes me dress more feminine as well as I think pieces such as a heavily floral piece stands out more as I don't have masses of hair distracting. Don't get me wrong, I love long hair. I am the only one of my friends that doesn't have long hair and they all pull it off wonderfully but I like the fact that I am a minority within my social group.
This was really just a little ramble that I wanted to put out there. Let me know your thoughts
Hope you are all having a lovely Easter weekend

PENCIL SKIRT
Weekend outfit post.
The night wasn't that great but I liked my outfit! Every cloud I suppose... The night was a funny one but I think I made the right decision, it feels like the right decision. If it feels right then I guess it is the right thing. I love this Accessorize bag, the colour is so beautiful it is a shame I put my black eyeshadow in it & the lining is now coated in black...
Top - New Look
Skirt - Topshop
Bag - Accessorize
Shoes - Dorothy Perkins
This is the first time I'm showing off my new brown hair, I wanted it a little darker but it will fade a lot with all the bleach that is underneath it! So glad I got my haircut back super short, I feel like me with super short hair.
