JUMPSUIT

Jumpsuits. This is my first jumpsuit & I love it! Such a simple easy thing to wear yet looks a little different from what everyone else is wearing. Plus points. I got this lace jumpsuit in the ASOS sale, total bargain. My only moan - ASOS not everyone has slender model-esque calves, some of us have a more sturdy calf therefore a little give in the leg would be delightful - apart from that I can't complain. I didn't manage to get a proper full length picture but I wore the imfamous Zara heels which I showed a few posts ago. Loved the outfit. Nights out are always good when you feel good in your outfit.

Before I go, I've had some lovely comments on here recently so wanted to say thank you to you all, I love reading comments from fellow bloggers. Everyone has been really sweet so thank you! x

SPRING, IS THAT YOU?

A really simple but put together outfit for today. I love these trousers, they were such an amazing buy, a view that most bloggers seem to hold. I have only teamed them with black so far but I'm thinking a white top with my big H&M necklace would be nice also a pale blue tee or a pale pink seen as it is getting a little brighter after some really manky weather!  I wore this badly pictured (web cam!) outfit with my Oasis leather jacket & New Look black slippers.

THINKING BIG

Bet you're all thinking 'Why is she so tall next to the stack of hat boxes?!' 'Is she some form of giant?' The answer to both is I am kneeling. 'Why?' You ask now. The answer is simple: I am too lazy to get my pile of books that I use to balance my camera on over so I figured this would be the easiest way! #lazyblogger also #toocheaptobuyatripodblogger

Anyways, this is the second time my lovely new H&M necklace has been featured on here. I love it so very much. It is such a perfect pale coral pink colour & it sits perfectly on the neck/chest area. I think it dresses up an all together very casual outfit.

I had a mild exam related breakdown earlier but I seem to have gotten it under control, topics have been selected now all I have to do is learn them... Que breakdown number two ladies & gentlemen it will be here before the week is out.

CONTENT

Two days in a row... I may have the blogging bug back. Yay! Day two of mad rush to get ready although this time it was not really necessary as I was way to early to meet my friend on her lunch break but alas my rushing put together an outfit I am quite happy with. These burgundy (the camera doesn't quite pick up the rich berry colour) are the comfiest things I've ever had the pleasure of putting on. They are a really thick legging material allowing easy movement & endless hours of comfort - dream!

Trousers - Warehouse sale
Top - H&M sale (although I'm starting to think it makes me look pregnant?!)

UNIFORM

This morning was one of those rushed, must find something to wear quickly sort of morning... I detest these mornings. Greatly. This being the case I went to my ever faithful Levi shorts. They have never let me down. In fact they have become somewhat of a uniform - a habit I have set myself the challenge of breaking... wish me luck. Anyway, I had a quick uni meeting this afternoon & then am off to work tonight so in my rush this to me was appropriate. It served its purpose.

I am really loving gold and rose gold at the moment, in particular big chunky jewerelly, something that in necklace form my bigger  bust is not thanking me for but alas it is too pretty not too! This bag is another iffy piece with me, I love it - it has a beautiful old doctors bag style opening & fits everything and more into it but it is just so bloody big & bulky. I feel I am carrying around a hold all all day plus it can lead to some awkward getting wedged in the stairs on the bus incidents... I don't want to talk about it!

CHARADE

'Charade' is one of my favourite Audrey Hepburn movies, it is in the good company of  'Roman Holiday', the classic that is 'Breakfast at Tiffanys' and the fabulously styled 'How to steal a million' everything from Audrey's clothes to her eye make up are simply perfect in 'How to steal a million.'

The fashion in 'Charade' is another fashion favourite. In particular the three outfits pictured; the fascinator worn at her late husbands funeral with the veil, the red coat with the leopard hat & the black dress with the bead detail on the waist. All simply stunning.

She has such grace & elegance added with the amazing clothes, the Parisian background & Cary Grant it is just so amazing. Watch it!

STYLE CRUSH

Zoe Hardman. She has only recently appeared again on ITV2 and I have to admit she is a nice change from Caroline Flack's sometimes repetitive style. Zoe uses simple pieces, which I like, with interesting accessories such as a bright clutch! Love her style, think she might be a bit of a Topshop girl too!

PENCIL SKIRT

Weekend outfit post.

The night wasn't that great but I liked my outfit! Every cloud I suppose... The night was a funny one but I think I made the right decision, it feels like the right decision. If it feels right then I guess it is the right thing. I love this Accessorize bag, the colour is so beautiful it is a shame I put my black eyeshadow in it & the lining is now coated in black...

Top - New Look
Skirt - Topshop
Bag - Accessorize
Shoes - Dorothy Perkins

This is the first time I'm showing off my new brown hair, I wanted it a little darker but it will fade a lot with all the bleach that is underneath it! So glad I got my haircut back super short, I feel like me with super short hair.

FEELING SUMMER LIKE

Todays outfit.

These are the jeans seen in my previous post. I say jeans, they are a sort of heavy duty leggings material. They re so comfortable, I wore them out on Saturday with a black cropped tshirt & my Dorothy Perkins heels with my Marc B Chelsea bag used as a clutch unfortunately I forgot to take a picture! I wore them today in this amazing weather with a black loose H&M tshirt tied up into a more fitted almost crop top with some black sandals - sandals in March, crazy times!

H&M Floral trousers

What do we think of them? On me, not in general. It's all about me don't ya know, I'm kidding! Do we think they are flattering? Help!

My recent purchases ... how much of an amazing summery outfit do they make! All H&M apart from the clutch which is Accesorize.

BERRY NICE

The Warehouse sale is one of my favourite. They have decent reductions on sale items, not a silly few quid off. I want a proper sale. These berry coloured trousers were originally £35 but were reduced to £17! See what I mean, that is a saving. Naturally I snapped them up, slightly in two minds sitting at my laptop but when they arrived & I tried them on ... it was love. They are high waisted & a sort of heavy duty legging material. Very skinny. Very gorgeous.

I have plans for them for this weekend. I'm thinking either my shoe boots or my heels seen in this post. With either a plain black H&M crop top & gold collar necklace or my sequined Zara tshirt. What do we think? Big chunky clutch as well . What else!

In other news, I want my hair to grow! Right now! Hopefully it won't take too long, my hair normally grows pretty fast so keep everything crossed for me. Ever the dramatic am I!

Hope everyone is enjoying this gorgeous weather. I am on day 4 of a 6 day working block... *sigh*. Two to go, two to go!

BURGUNDY

I finally have the blogging bug back again. Yay! This was just a quick outfit I wore to go in for a group meeting in uni, nothing special or exciting but I like it. It's simple. I like simple. That sentence makes me sound simple! Alas, it is true - simple does it for me. The outfit just kind of fell together which is nice. I like it when something you've planned out in your head comes out exactly as you want it to in real life. Makes the day go a little bit easier. The burgundy colour of the top is a favourite of mine. It is a dressier colour - if colours can be segmented this way (?!) making the outfit seem a bit less relaxed. I like relaxed but I like to look like I've made the effort too!

THE OUTCOME

So in the end I went with the denim shorts & the body. I wasn't too keen on it at first but I actually kind of like it now. I added my Zara studded belt & my orange H&M bag for a bit of colour. Pretty happy with it. It was an alright night, feeling pretty fresh today which is always a good thing!

I had a good time dancing. I love dancing on a night out. Drink in one hand, pulling some shapes - it is the most fun part of a night out apart from the getting ready part. It feels amazing just letting go & having some fun on the dance floor!

WHAT TO WEAR

Right my lovely people, I need your help in choosing what to wear out on Saturday night. As I'm sure you are aware it is St Patricks Day, it's always a big night out ... I missed it last year but this year I plan to have a really good one. It sounds like I'm talking about New Years or something but anyways I have three outfits choices each based around a black v-neck body from ASOS. The fourth picture was meant to give you a better look at it, whether it does or doesn't who knows!

The club we are going to is one of those sort of theme-less clubs I guess you could say, dressing up or not doesn't really matter but being a weag, I like to dress up & make an effort. So here are the options...

Outfit One.

 Body - Asos
Skirt - H&M
Leopard Belt - Accessorize
Shoes - Dorothy Perkins

I had thought about using my orange bag, seen below, but it might be too much with the leopard I think!

Outfit Two.

Body - Asos
Shorts - Miss Selfridge
Bag - H&M
Shoes - Dorothy Perkins

Bit more casual I'd say but I quite like the casual-dressy ness of it.

Outfit Three.

Body - Asos
Skirt - H&M
Shoes - Dorothy Perkins

I bought this skirt weeks and weeks ago but have yet to show it the bright lights of Edinburgh night life. I love it but I'm not too sure whether it looks too small?! I was also thinking this skirt might be nice with the white chiffon top seen here

Let me know what you think!

BLACK & LACE

Last night was my friends Birthday night out, it was such a good night. Had so much fun & a little too much to drink but it's only her Birthday once a year! Excuses! This is what I wore with the orange  clutch I blogged about before. The dress is a Zara special, only £25.99 - Bargain. It has lace sections above the cut outs but obviously from wearing a bra you can't see it. It is such a lovely dress & I really liked wearing it. I think I need some more colour about my face, on my lips I think! My face looks weird in this photo also... amazing night though!

IN YOUR FACE

These jeans I am not 100% sure about. They are very red. Proper bright, in your face red. They drew a few looks on the streets today. I love the colour but I'm not sure if I am brave enough or confident enough to stroll carelessly down the street in extremely bright trousers. I think part of my dislike is that I'm not too keen on what i have paired them with. I think a plain v neck tshirt & a chunky gold necklace with nude pumps would have been nicer. Less preppy... This is what I wore today nonetheless!

I am considering going darker on the hair front, I just can't get my make up to work for me just now. My skin is rubbish just now which I don't think is helping. Generally feeling poopy!

TIED WITH A BOW

Top - River Island
Ribbon tied in a bow - Card shop
Belt - Zara
Shorts - Levi vintage
Boots - Topshop Alec's
Leather jacket - Oasis
Bag - Topshop

I love this green top. It was a total steal at £12 but it has become a firm favourite of mine. I bought a meter of black ribbon from a gift shop to use as a bow at the neck which I think adds a bit of interest to the outfit & makes it more versatile. All about versatility am I. The ever famous Levi shorts back another appearance, I am going to get a second pair tomorrow! I tore one of the rips a bit more today with my big stupid foot but you can't really tell...

I bought a new outfit for the weekend which I love & am so excited to wear. I love it when this happens, you lose hope of finding something then it all appears to you, angels sing & a bright light shines round the item. Just me this happens to?!
