GENTLEMEN PREFER BLONDES

'Gentlemen Prefer Blondes'. A classic movie. One of my favourites if you ever ponder the crucial question that is 'what is her favourite film?' - you now know. Growing up my mum introduced me to the world of "old movies" & the romance was born. I always wanted to be Jane Russell as a child. The lines & the general put together look of the times is beautiful. Classy.

Dress - Topshop 

These are terribly static photos - I don't even have my eyes open in one - but I wanted to show you this dress. It was £15 - £10 gift card made it a grand total of £5. Bargain.  I was a bit nervous about this dress, it is tight & there is no way to hide unsightly bits you'd rather just keep to yourself but I loved wearing it. It was different, really comfortable ... good buy I would say. I wore it with my platform Dorothy Perkins heels which I am sure will pop up at some point & a black patent clutch. The only thing about a tight fitting dress, a charming male decided it would be okay to give my bum a grope... I did the true ladylike thing & continued walking, dying a little inside.

DREAM BAG

Spring Summer 2012 dream bag. This little beaut' by Antonia Smythson is simply amazing. The colour, the style, the hardware. Beautiful. I am a big fan of classic clean lines & handbags so basically this is made for me... anyone willing to shell out £950 on this lovely bag that would make one girl very happy?! No, thought not...

Jumper Topshop Trousers H&M Shoes New Look Bag Topshop Fur Stole Topshop Jacket Oasis Necklace Topshop (Many moons ago)

Black. A favourite colour - technically a shade - either way it is a favourite of mine. It goes with everything, looks chic, can be sliming... the list goes on. These trousers were a random find I guess you could say, I spotted them in H&M, saw the £12.99 price tag  . Before I knew where I was, they were in a bag & I was striding out of the shop. An amazing buy - really comfy, versatile & affordable. So much so I went & got a navy pair & a red pair. What I really like about them is that although they are jean material making them in all means and purposes - jeans! They don't have the jean style pocketing, they have simple tailored trouser pockets which I love. Can I just apologies for my rather mardy looking face...

NEW ADDITION

The shoes I have been waiting for finally got collected from the sorting office which was a distressing walk in the first place (Nothing makes me feel more uncomfortable than builders shouting about my backside while I stroll past...) Anyway, these New Look booties were one of those things I tried on everytime I went into the shop but never actually parted with my cold hard cash for. I bought a new dress & thought they would be perfect with them so I search around on Ebay & found them for ... a tenner! The picture quality is odd - I'm still getting the hang of decent pictures, my apologies. Got big plans for these boots this weekend for my flatmates surprise birthday party hopefully they go... watch this space!

SIMPLICITY

First post ... yay! I recently got a new laptop & as my old laptop died a very slow & painful death with its death I lost all my fashion 'inspiration' pictures - everyone is guilty of these folders - so I had to start from fresh (probably not the worst thing, fresh 'inspiration' can't be a bad thing). While browsing the Zara website, I saw this picture & just fell in love. The simplicity mixed with the over sized clutch, the busy printed bomber & the clean lines of the shoes as well as the texture of the top & the bright jeans just make it so amazing. Simple yet fashionable ... and it is a bit different from the usual mini dress seen in nightclubs across the country.

Hello & Welcome to Cèlina Fabisè!

You may have ended up here from my previous blog 'Following the Fashion' or you may have stumbled upon this page by chance - either way welcome & I hope you enjoy reading my blog! 

As well as welcoming you to my lovely new blog, I want to shine some light on two points...

Number 1 - Why I moved from 'Following the Fashion'? 

I had posted on & off over on 'Following the Fashion' since August 2008, I was only 17/18 years old. Now roughly 5 years later at 22, I feel a fresh start is what is needed in order to make blogging fun & interesting again. I had some wonderful followers on 'Following the Fashion', that were always incredibly lovely & I hope that Cèlina Fabisè will be no different! Leave me a little hello if you've come over! 

Number 2 - Who or what is Cèlina Fabisè?

Cèlina Fabisè started from a third year University project, I had to create & design a brand. I created Cèlina Fabisè! It was a assignment that I really enjoyed at university & the brand I created was 100% who I want to be so I thought continuing my love for it as my blog name fitted perfectly! 

Hopefully that sheds some light on my reasoning for my new blog, I already feel fresh enthusiasm & excitement for this blog. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do!
